Amsterdam-based Devon Rexi crafts playful, dub-infused experimental music, blending fried-Farsi vocals with otherworldly screeches, intricate drums, dubby bass, and rhythmic guitar. Originally Nicolini (drums/vocals) and Nushin Naini (bass/vocals), now joined by Goya van der Heyden (electronics/percussion), their 2024 release Biya Ba Manshowcases post-punky psych-funk, with pitch-shifted vocals and distorted grooves guiding listeners through liminal, in-between worlds.
