Japanese trio maya ongaku will perform at the Lovers & Lollypops venue in Porto on October 5, presenting their new album, "Nothing Space Music", which is set for release on August 7 via Guruguru Brain.

Formed by Tsutomu Sonoda, Ryota Takano and Shoei Ikeda, the band has developed a distinctive body of work rooted in the intersection of psychedelia, Japanese folk and experimental rock. Their new studio album, "Nothing Space Music", emerged from a search for silence and contemplation following several years of intensive touring activity.

Described by the group as their most complete work to date, the album offers an immersive listening experience in which sound and silence coexist, reflecting the artistic vision that has guided maya ongaku since their formation.
