It was during the year 2008 that Tiago Ferreira (Cavalheiro) began to seriously focus on his solo project, starting to write songs and schedule concerts. He made his debut in November 2008 at Cabaret Maxime in Lisbon, and since then has performed across the country, appearing as a duo with Mariana Marques on keyboards. In March 2009, he released his first EP through Lovers & Lollypops, recorded at home and serving as both an introduction and a prelude to concerts that continued until 2010. He is now preparing to release his debut album, once again through Lovers & Lollypops. The album features contributions from The Partisan Seed and Mainslide and showcases a progression toward his true musical identity. From 2010 onward, during the album presentations, he appears with a new ensemble and stage setup, replacing keyboards with a drum set (Filipe Ferreira) and an electric guitar (João Gonçalves).
